### Questions before you pay

Short answers from what this site already states. The issued policy has the final word.

Is it insurance or a service?

Syba provides the response service, and the cover comes from A-rated carriers, placed through licensed brokers. Your quote and policy documents name the exact carrier, limits, terms and exclusions.

What does it not cover?

Director Shield is personal cover for the director, not the company's own cyber policy. Your quote and policy documents list the limits, terms and exclusions, and the issued policy has the final word.

Can I cancel?

Personal plans are cancel any month with a prorated refund. For Director Shield, AgentShield Pro and company programs, the term is in your quote and policy documents.

Is my data safe?

The trust center sets out what Syba holds, where it lives and which providers touch it. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.

Why not our existing D&O or cyber policy?

Standard D&O policies exclude cyber events, and standard cyber policies cover the company, not the individual director. Director Shield is purpose-built for that gap.

How do claims work?

Your concierge team owns the claim from first report to resolution. You file once, a real person takes it from there, and you follow the status from your dashboard.

Insurance coverage is provided on a layered basis by A-rated carriers. The first $2,000,000 of coverage is underwritten by Tokio Marine HCC - Cyber & Professional Lines Group; the layer above $2,000,000 up to the $5,000,000 limit is underwritten by Chubb. Policies are placed through Syba’s licensed insurance brokers (EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants in the United States). Coverage, limits and availability vary by jurisdiction and are subject to the terms of the issued policy.
